On Android phone:

  1. Launch "WO Mic" app
  2. Select right connection method.
    Click on Settings button to select the connection: USB, Bluetooth or Wifi. Leave all other options as default.
  3. Perform other operations related to transport method:
    Transport Operations
    USB Enable USB debugging on your device.
    • On most devices running Android 3.2 or older, you can find the option under Settings > Applications > Development.
    • On Android 4.0 and newer, it's in Settings > Developer options.

      Note: On Android 4.2 and newer, Developer options is hidden by default. To make it available, go to Settings > About phone and tap Build number seven times. Return to the previous screen to find Developer options.

    • Turn on Bluetooth
    • Pair or bond your phone with PC if you have not done that yet
    Wifi Turn on Wifi and connect it to one hotspot. Acquired IP address will be displayed on app panel.
  4. Click on "Start" button to start the service

On PC:

  1. Launch "WO Mic Client" program
  2. Connect to server.
    Select Connection -> Connect. The connection method should be same as you selected on phone. Other inputs:
    Transport Operations
    1. Connect phone to PC by USB cable
    2. Make sure your phone is recognized as an valid device by PC.

    * Make sure you already installed ADB driver successfully to use USB transport:
    1. Turn on Bluetooth if it's OFF
    2. Select phone as the target device. If your phone does not appear in the device list, pleas check if they are paired
    1. Turn on Wifi if it's OFF
    2. Enter the IP address displayed on phone app panel.
    Once you finished, click on Ok button.
  3. Select "WO Mic" on PC as audio source.
    If the program does not allow you choose recording devices, you can set "WO Mic" as the default one and that it will be selected automatically.

If you would hear the sound directly, enable "Play in speaker".
